From the changelog of Apple’s Bootcamp 1.2 release:
- Improved Windows driver installation experience
What a unique thing in the windows world.
For those who don’t know: Installing windows on a apple laptop is a experience to behold. Apple Ships a single installer which installs the driver for every single device in the machine (Remote, Camera, Trackpad, Bluetooth, Network, Chipset, Graphics Card etc). Leave it to Apple to make provide the best user experience in the windows world. It worked so well that i can’t even imagine what they might have improved in the 1.2 release.

Their situation is no different from dells. Dell knows exactly what hardware it puts in a computer before delivery.
