Anyone successfully acquired one of these beauties in Canada?

Running Room.ca says they will get some of the compatible shoes middle to late August. Unfortunately thats already pretty much the homestretch of the running season up here so I wonder if there are any other options of getting the set?

I bought a pair straight from Nike and had them shipped overnight. I ran a 150 mile relay race in them and they did pretty well. (I was responsible for about 13 of those.)

The distances can be a little bit inaccurate if there are a lot of uphills or downhills, but it was generally useful.

Just buy the sensor from amazon, put it under your current shoe’s laces…heard that works fine.

I have found the Nike+ kit to be very accurate so far. In fact, the website is incredible and it’s very motivating to see your results over time.

Don’t be conned into buying a pair of Nike shoes if you’re already comfortable with what you have. Several others on the web, myself included, have been able to tie/velcro the wireless transmitter to our existing shoes. Results over 200 miles show that its perfectly accurate.
