Today the typo dev team is doing one of our famous hack-days. We will try our very best to get a release out within the next days. Things on the list today
- Merge of the new admin interface
- Introduction of the new plugin sidebar architecture
- Introduction of the theming system.

Thanks for your work on Typo! I’m excited to upgrade when you get the new version going.
I added a Pages model and controller to my Typo, so now my blogs have both blog articles and static content in pages. This would be a great feature to add into a future version, and it was very easy to implement – maybe took an hour.
Here is a screenshot of my admin page.
I have two blogs running the hacked Typo with pages.

By the way, using AJAX to post comments was a stroke of brilliance and makes me want to post comments all day just to see them pop up there. :)

Ryan, we’ve already implemented that very same Page model in the current development version of typo. :)

Ryan. Your admin interface implementation is beautiful. We just redesigned the real typo admin ourselfs hehe.
The newest version of typo has the Pages as scoop said.
Ryan: you should come to irc and join efforts. the new admin interface is very nice but needs more polish. We should join forces.

Just checked out the current version of typo from svn, beautiful work. Obviously needs a little more polish, but what’s there is one of the most usable interfaces I’ve seen on a blog.
