  just installed it locally and will be incorporating it into 3 new projects immediately. this kicks. literally it took me 4 mins.

  one request that i am likely to implement on my own: support for enclosures, for podcasts. there’s a nifty MT plugin that lets you link to an mp3 on your site and it seeks it out, verifies it is real, and creates an enclosure in your rss 2.0 file.

  if/when i get one working i’ll contribute.

  great offering to the rails community. you just saved me a week of programming.

  havent tried debugging yet, but am getting this error on the auto preview:

  Nice, but still not really usable for me :(

  Two features that would make it for me:

  1. My reader will most likely be English and German. So Typo would have to be translated.
  2. If I want to post in two or more languages I need at least one level of subcategories: Deutsch / Neues and English / News. Better yet would be unlimited subcategories

  At the moment I am stuck with Drupal. I wish I had time to implement this myself …

  Okay, I’ll bite. You’ve just made it to the top of my Ruby package radar, and put Instiki at a solid second. From a cursory look at the code, however (and I’m still getting the hang of Ruby), it looks like it will be a bit tricky to turn it into a wiki engine in (spend a few minutes on my site and you’ll figure out why I want that).

  Any thoughts on this sort of integration?

  I tried to install it but I get a “Application Error” on the front page.

  As I access it from another workstation, I don’t get any message. From localhost it says something like :

  Re: Rui’s somewhat cryptic comment about blogs and wikis, I’ve been thinking about something like this for awhile. I posted something brief about it on my blog, but it seems automatic trackback didn’t register.

  It’s struck me that it’s artificial to view wikis and blogs as fundamentally different kinds of application. They’re just different ways to serialize content + metadata.

  The only example I know of to put this idea into practice is the Java-based SnipSnap. Would be nice to see Rails enable this sort of thing.
