Quicksilver is the coolest application for the mac platform. This is how I open my programming project:

• snow (= snowdevil, a folder)
• ow (= open with, an action)
• T (= TextMate)

Quicksilver lets you do everything from queuing up a couple of albums on iTunes to pasting the address of one of your address book contacts where your cursor is. If you think a command line is faster to use than a well done GUI like Apple’s take tools like quicksilver into consideration.
